The classroom journal of PhonoLogic.
We write about phonics, structured literacy, and the cognitive science of reading — for parents, teachers, and tutors who want a clearer picture of what works and why. Built and edited in Toronto.
What we publish
One thoughtful long-form essay every two to four weeks, plus the occasional shorter piece on a specific classroom strategy or new piece of research. We don't chase the news cycle.
Who writes
The PhonoLogic team — teachers, tutors, and reading specialists working alongside the engineers building the product. Bylines are always real people with relevant experience.
Our stance
Evidence-based, structured-literacy aligned, and a little allergic to gamification dressed up as pedagogy. We try to be honest about what software can and can't do.
